"Fall"ing into Action...
My big "end-of-summer goal" race was Saturday morning. It went very well! Karen and I finished strong with a 9:20 mile and I was 19th for my age bracket. I really felt like I trained well and was in great shape for the race. I think that's it for me and races this year. I am looking at a potential 25K next May. That is, in fact, if I decide to pay for a winter gym membership, which I am not so excited about....we'll see....
In other news, we found an adorable new fall activity! It's a little nursery in town that turns their greenhouse into a family fall festival on the weekends. The kids were in heaven and I was very impressed with the place (clean, well done, thought out, good customer service). I think there must be an early education person involved...it was too good.
We also attempted a family picture for Lucy's first "show and tell" this week. This is a very rare occurance...and now you see why....
It was a beautiful fall weekend in the midwest - but now we are gearing up for mid-80's and feeling "like July" all week! Wacky!

Nice work on the run - I love the picture of you and Luce "powering up" together . . . very He-Man.
